GENERAL INFO
The included files will update or install both the Console and GUI
variants of "The Semware Editor", a.k.a. "TSE".

INHERIT OLD TSE SETTINGS
The below set-up will offer you a prompt to install TSE to a directory
  of your choice.

If you choose to install to (a copy of) an existing TSE directory,
then the installation will preserve the old TSE's:
  - Settings.
  - Macro AutoLoad List.
  - non-Semware entries in the Potpourri menu.

Exception: Inheritance will be only partial for too old TSE versions.

There are steps you can take to also preserve your user interface (.ui) file,
  which contains menus and keys.
The simplest one is renaming it to a non-Semware name and recompiling it.
Then the installation will preserve and recompile it too.
For more info and pros and cons see the "Installation and update tips" at:
    https://ecarlo.nl/tse/TseDownloads.html

SETUP AS
"setup_as_administrator" makes the installation program offer extra
installation options that require it to update the Windows registry,
which makes it ask for Windows administrator privileges.

"setup_as_user" works in environments that do not allow programs
to run with Windows administrator privileges.

The above commands might rename tse.exe to setup.exe or back.

VIRUS SCANNERS
tse.exe (aka setup.exe) and tse.dat are known to trigger some virus scanners,
some of which even quarantine or delete these files, requiring you to recover
  them or vouch for them.

Your virus scanner might judge these files to be suspicious rather than
  detect a specific virus.

You might want a second opinion from a site like this one
    https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload
that scans an uploaded file will all public versions of virus scanners.
